In March of 2011, PROS FOR AFRICA spent several days in both Uganda and Rwanda in an effort to provide much needed medical aid, food, clean drinking water, love and hope to those in need. PFA would like to thank the Starkey Hearing Foundation for partnering with us to fit people with more than 2,000 hearing aids while on this trip.

PFA’s accomplishments on this successful trip include:
Assisted in feeding 2,500 people.
Assisted in fitting more than 2,000 people in Uganda and Rwanda with hearing aids.
Treated more than 2,000 people between the Gulu and Atiak medical clinics.
Handed out over 500 t-shirts and 250 waterstraws to children in desperate need.
Helped dig a water well and lay the foundation for a local school.
Put smiles on the faces of thousands of people and gave them hope and a sense of self worth.
