Our MISSION in Uganda for 2010 was to provide the people of Uganda with a little HOPE, HELP and LOVE. Through your generous donations and countless individual contributions, we did just that!
Here is what we were able to accomplish:
- Treated more than 600 patients at two locations
- Provided more than $75,000 in medicine and supplies
- Assisted in feeding roughly 5,000 people
- Water wells: water for more 30,000 people (with more on the way)
- Started the construction of a new school building
- Passed out 2,000 water straws
- Put smiles on the faces of hundreds of children.
- Raised awareness of the conflict in Northern Uganda & provided hope to thousands
In addition, our pro athletes and team members were able to bring joy to hundreds of children by spending countless hours of dancing, singing and playing games with them.
Our countdown is already on for our Uganda 2011trip! We anticipate the impact we will have on the lives of the people of Uganda will be even bigger next year! Stay tuned for updates from Uganda 2011!!
