Sister Rosemary Nyirumbe, winner of the 2007 CNN Heroes Award as a Community Crusader, is the director of St. Monica Girls’ Tailoring Centre in Gulu, Uganda. This special school, run by the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ, offer women and children living in northern Uganda with a safe place to heal, learn and begin anew.
